The Melbourne Cup Party @ The Eastern

So after the Jordon's Parade, I met Kate at the Pitt Street Mall then we had coffee in QVB. We then took a train to Bondi Junction and went to level 3 of the Eastern Hotel where they had the party.
It was a smallish gathering but the people seemed friendly, drunk but friendly. There, we met Elle (2threads asst. editor)and her friend. I also saw a few familiar faces from the industry.
